Vicki Belo says they have no plans for showbiz career for Scarlet Snow

At the advance screening of “The Lion King” on Sunday, Dr. Vicki Belo said that she and husband Hayden Kho have no plans to pursue a showbiz career for their daughter Scarlet Snow in the future.

“No, not at all,” Dr. Vicki told GMA News Online.

“We were very confused from the beginning because there’s so many offers coming in from commercials and stuff and so in the beginning we’re turning them down because we didn’t want her to work,” she said.

They prayed and decided to accept a few offers, but only from brands they really believe in.

“At the same time we’re praying, because is this a blessing from the Lord? Are we ignoring what You’re sending? So we decided we’ll keep it very few,” Dr. Vicki said.

She added that it will be up to Scarlet whether to continue.

“At anytime she feels she doesn’t like it, we’ll stop, but all the money that she makes we put it in a trust fund for her future,” Dr. Vicki shared.

Dr. Vicki also said that they are planning to send Scarlet, who is 4, to a regular school once she turns 5. — BM, GMA News
