Ruru Madrid congratulates Rere for advancing to StarStruck's Top 14

Rere received nothing but praise from the StarStruck council.

Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista told Rere that her performance gave the impression that she was the older sibling and not Ruru.

"Alam mo sa pinakita mo pinaniwala mo ko na hindi ikaw yung mas bata parang feel ko ikaw yung mas matanda parang may pinaghuhugutan ka yata," said Evangelista.

Meanwhile, Jose Manalo commended Rere for the courage it took to join StarStruck, despite her  brother's position in the indutry which she could have used to break into the business.

"Pinatunayan mo lang dun sa pinakita mo sa singing mo tsaka acting mo na hindi ka nahihiya kung sakaling papasok ka dito dahil kapatid mo si Ruru at hindi rin kami puwedeng komo kapatid ka ni Ruru ipapasok ka dito pero sa pinakita mo tingin ko papasok ka," said Manalo.

Cherie Gil meanwhile complemented her for her natural acting skills.

"Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng acting that comes naturally you are a thinking actor. 'Yan ata ang iyong forte, mahilig ka talaga sa acting," Gil said. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/DVM, GMA News
