‘Better Kris’ knows who to get rid of
Television personality Kris Aquino has denied making death threats against former business partner Nicko Falcis and said she only wanted him jailed for stealing P40 million from her which she has saved for her children.
Kris, sister of former President Benigno Aquino III, was responding to an audio uploaded on Youtube on Tuesday wherein she was apparently heard making “kill threats” to Falcis and others who were critical of her brother.
“He (Falcis) waited for 110 days. Kung grave threat talaga, dapat the very next day kinasuhan mo na ako. It (sentiments in the audio) was a mere afterthought after motions were filed by his lawyers to delay his criminal cases. Sinabi ko you will be jailed, nagkamali ako roon, inaamin ko, I apologized dahil sa tindi ng galit ko because my son was breaking down, he knew how serious auto immune disease is,” Kris said in a Facebook live broadcast from Singapore where she is undergoing treatment.
“Kung galit ako, karapatan ko 'yun, buhay ng mga anak ko ang kinuha niya. Ang ninakawan niya, special child. [But] whatever the future holds, you can see...Kris is back, and she is a better Kris because she knows who to trust, who to get rid of. Not to execute ah. 'Di naman kami ganun,” Kris added.
Kris also maintained her allegations that Falcis, whom she has already sued in court, has yet to account for the P40 million that he stole from her.
“He (Nicko) signed a P400,000 check, acknowledging that he did abuse company funds. Whether it is 4,000, 14,000, nagnakaw ka. Give me a break. That was an admission against his interest. The question is what is Nicko doing to pay the remaining balance,” Kris said.
Kris then argued that she has never had a record of being in dispute with her business partners, until Falcis came along.
“15 years with Deo Endrinal, I never had an issue with money. 14 years with Boy Abunda, I never had an issue with money. 20 years with ABS, I never had an issue with money. [But] this man has been with me for a year and this happened to me,” Kris said.
Kris also dismissed Falcis' claims on her as a well-funded demolition job backed by powerful political figures since she is a viable candidate for the 2022 polls.
“This has to do with 2022. Alam natin 'yung pumupondo ng trolls, [ng]machinery backing Nicko. They are saying I am not healthy enough for 2022. [But] let's be honest, sa ginawa niyo sa akin, papalakas ako, handa kayo,” Kris said.
“That is what my Dad told me, don't tell them your plans, just do it. Kaya handa kayo, papalakas talaga ako. The Falcis [brothers] are being used as pawns, they are expendables. They are being used by bigger political powers,” she added. —LDF. GMA News
