Cesar Montano calmly speaks up on viral video

Actor Cesar Montano continues to deal with his recent viral video calmly, as he said he simply could not grant his fans' requests to focus on the "background" of his videos.

Cesar has broken his silence about his video that recently went viral after an apparently naked woman was caught in the background.

"Bff, you won’t believe that I get thousands of requests for video birthday greetings. But the thing is, I can’t grant their requests to focus on the background instead of me," Cesar told columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal through text message.

"And a hundred other requests are for my voice-over greeting only so the video will zoom in on the background (laughs)," he added.

Cesar also said he even cracked up when others made spoofs of his video.

"My favorite spoof is by Buknoy. It totally cracked me up."

Cesar however did not give details of the "unidentified" woman.

The former Tourism Promotions Board chief also made a birthday greeting for GMA News anchor Arnold Clavio, where in the end, Cesar quipped: "Sorry walang background ha."

Montano's over-15-year marriage with Sunshine Cruz was annulled last September. They have three daughters: Angelina Isabelle, Samantha Angeline, and Angel Franchesca. —LBG, GMA News
