Kuya Wil says 'impromptu' visit to the Aquinos 'really for Josh'

Wowowin host Kuya Willie Revillame gladly shared about his recent "impromptu" visit to the Aquinos, revealing that aside from his CDs, Josh's wish was to actually ride a sports car with him.

"Actually ang story non, nung ini-injection-an daw si Josh sa hospital, yung kanta ko ang kinakanta para malibang si Josh. And then si tita Cristy Fermin tumawag sa akin. Sabi niya 'Oy si Josh, yung kanta mo anak...' Sabi ko 'Nasaan ba si Josh?' Sabi niya nasa ospital pa," Kuya Wil told GMA reporters during his "Wowowin" co-production contract signing on Wednesday.

Believe me, we’re just like you (except ako ang Ferrari sa commercial lang ng San Miguel 13 years ago natikman ma “drive”, si willie kanya talaga- winner, kaya swerte ni kuya josh- inikot sya ni tito willie sa isa sa dream cars nya)- nanuod po kami ng SONA, kumain, nag kwentuhan. #ichooselove (nag 2 block screenings ako last night- pag uwi ko yung mga CD ni willie nasa tabi pa rin nya. Yun ang simple at totoong happiness. ????)

After getting informed about Josh's medical checkup, Kuya Will knew he had to pay him a visit.

"Pero yung time na, actually after namin ni Mayora Sara Duterte, nung hapon nagpunta ako ng Shangri-La EDSA Plaza, andun lang ako, sabi ko sa staff ko 'Tawagan mo nga si Ms. Kris Aquino, si tita Kristy, kung nasaan si Josh.' Walang plano yun eh. Tapos nakausap niya si Kris Aquino and then sabi ni Kris 'Ang wish ni Josh makasakay ng sports car' na ako magda-drive. So pinakuha ko yung sasakyan. And then, buti hindi umuulan. Pag punta namin don, sinurprise ko si Josh. Yun lang talaga istorya non."

"Actually walang plano yon. Naisip ko lang right there and then. Impromptu lang yon... Even myself hindi ko alam na, ang gusto niya isakay siya sa sports car, sarili ko," kuya Will added.

Kuya Wil also noted that he had no plans at that time. "Hindi naman ako sanay sa social media, wala naman akong Facebook o Instagram noh? Ano lang ako eh, Wowowin lang ang buhay ko, bahay, yan lang ako talaga. Kaya nga wala akong girlfriend, di ba?"

Kuya Wil then clarified speculations that his visit meant a "spark" might be brewing between him and Kris, saying that it is not about the two of them, but really for Josh.

"Ay no, hindi naman, kasi it's really for Josh. Tsaka siyempre, kumbaga dun lang kami nakapag-communicate ni Kris eh, yung ano na yon. It's about Josh. Hindi naman about personal na tungkol sa kaniya, sa akin, hindi. Nagpasalamat lang siya. And then text lang niya na nung after na binigyan ko si Josh ng CD, umalis siya. Pag-uwi niya, pagbalik niya sa bahay, hawak pa rin ni Josh yung CDs na yon. So talagang mahal na mahal ni Josh yung mga song ko."

During kuya Willie's visit, Josh got a jacket, a CD and a ride on his Ferrari, gestures which The Queen of All Media was grateful for. —Jamil Santos/LBG, GMA News
