Alfred Vargas' wife hits backs at netizen about daughter's attendance in SONA 2018

Alfred Vargas' wife Yasmin cried foul over a netizen commenting about their daughter Aryana's presence at President Rodrigo Duterte's State of the Nation Address, Monday, July 23.

"That kid doesn't belong in that kind of affair yet. What does she knows or understands other than being in social media..Just saying..Sorry," wrote the netizen.

Yasmin, who couldn't attend due to being required bed rest for her pregnancy, quickly rebutted the commenter, explaining her inability to accompany Alfred and their daughter being in her stead.

"First of all, 'that kid' has a name and it’s Ary. Second, she was there to support her Daddy as I’m in bed rest. I don’t think it’s bad to be a good and loving daughter, especially at a young age. Third, the children of other gov’t officials were present as well because it’s standard practice for family members to be invited to the SONA.

"Ary definitely belongs in 'this kind of affair'. It is her right. And to tell you frankly, she is a very bright girl and you will be surprised about her understanding of things. Next time, please think before you judge children. Know the facts before you post. Your life must be so pathetic and miserable for an adult like you to bash a little kid. Just saying.." she replied.
