Paramount releases first image for ‘Bumblebee’ movie

Bumblebee will return as a yellow Volkswagen beatle in the Transformers movie spinoff dating back in 1987.

Paramount Pictures on Tuesday released the "first image" for the movie set to be shown in cinemas worldwide in December 2018.

The movie is set in 1987, when Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken, was found by his first human owner, Charlie (played by Hailee Steinfeld).

Charlie, turning 18, found Bumblebee in a junkyard in California. She would discover that the yellow beatle she found is no ordinary car.

Bumblebee is directed by Travis Knight. The other starts in the movie are Pamela Adlon, John Cena, Stephen Schneider and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. —ALG, GMA News
