Solenn Heussaff explains her fascination with indigenous tribes

“I love anything to do with indigenous people ... I like that they are very simple but are very sophisticated in their own way. Lahat ng clothes nila and weaves, so intricate and it has so much history behind it,” aniya sa isang press conference nitong Lunes.

Dagdag pa ng aktres, “We kind of take that for granted as urban people. We tend to forget the simple things in life. I feel like they know how to take care of that. I just have a thing for them.”

“I'm hoping to maybe do something in Mindanao in the future. I paint a lot of indigenous people, and my friend is starting a line with some weavers from Sulu. We're going to try to organize an exhibit, and a chill session with guitars and drinks, featuring their clothes and the beauty of what they weave,” pahayag niya.

— RSJ, GMA News
