Kapuso artists all set for GMA’s ‘Countdown to 2016’ at SM MOA
Looks like Kapuso artists don't mind working on holidays. GMA Network's stars are all set for the the big event to close out the year, the Countdown to 2016!
The New Year special will be hosted by Alden Richards, Kris Bernal, and Betong on Thursday at the SM Mall of Asia. All three were present during the rehearsals on Wednesday afternoon and prepared for their production numbers.
Also spotted at the rehearsals were love teams Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix as well as Gabby Garcia and Ruru Madrid. Kapuso hunks Mark Herras and Rocco Nacino and hotties Mayton Eugenio, Wyn Marquez, and Andrea Torres were also at the rehearsals.
Starstruck Ultimate Survivors Migo Adecer and Klea Pineda will also join the other Kapuso artists in greeting the coming year. First Prince and Princess Elyson De Dios and Ayra Mariano as well as Avengers Jay Arcilla and Arra San Agustin are also set to perform with the artista search winners.
Kapuso singer Maricris Garcia and actress-singer Rita de Guzman are also attending the countdown.
Aside from a dance number, Alden will also sing a few songs including the GMA Christmas Station ID, "MaGMAhalan Tayo Ngayong Pasko" on the New Year's Eve concert.

The GMA Countdown to 2016 will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Seaside Boulevard on December 31 at 11 p.m with a live telecast on GMA-7. — BM, GMA News
