Carlene Aguilar says husband beaten up in Boracay hotel

Former beauty queen Carlene Aguilar and her husband Yo Ocampo allegedly figured in an alleged physical altercation over the weekend with the family that owns the Grand Boracay Hotel, GMA News "24 Oras" reported on Monday.

According to a post on Aguilar's Instagram, the couple were on their way to their hotel room at 1 a.m. on May 1 when she was bumped by a man who she said appeared to be drunk.

She said that instead of apologizing, the man bragged that he owned the hotel.

Aguilar said in her post that she and her husband let the matter slide. However, she alleged that the owner of the hotel, his two children and some bodyguards attacked them in their hotel room.

Aguilar was allegedly also hurt in the incident.

The couple was allegedly forced out of the hotel afterwards.

Boracay police confirmed that the two sides went to the station to report the incident. The blotter entries were withheld from the media allegedly at their request.

Both parties also refused to be interviewed for their respective accounts of the incident.. -NB/JDS, GMA News
