Cedric Lee, Zimmer Raz at Taguig court to process release

Businessman Cedric Lee and associate Zimmer Raz arrived at the Taguig Regional Trial Court on Tuesday afternoon for their release orders, a day after the court allowed them to post bail for one of the charges in connection with the mauling of television host and actor Vhong Navarro last January.

 

Both were at the court for the processing of their release orders, radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported.

 

 

Notably missing, however, was their co-accused Deniece Cornejo. Radio dzBB's Tuesday Niu said Deniece was still at the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group headquarters as of Tuesday afternoon.

 

A "News TV Live" report by Jay Sabale quoted the trio's lawyer, Atty. Howard Calleja, confirming that they have posted bail, which was pegged at P500,000 by Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 271 headed by Judge Paz Esperanza-Cortes on Monday. — Joel Locsin/JST, GMA News
