Manilyn Reynes signs three-year contract with GMA Network

Actress Manilyn Reynes is now officially a Kapuso as she inked a three-year exclusive contract with GMA Network on Wednesday, March 12, at the GMA Network Center Building.

Present at the event were GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, SVP for Entertainment TV Ms. Lilybeth G. Rasonable, VP for Drama Ms. Redgie Acuña-Magno, and Program Managers Charles Koo and Bang Arespacochaga.

Manilyn, who currently appears in Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay na Kuwento as Pepito's wife Elsa, is very happy to be back home. "Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na finally, nandito na ako ulit. Nandito na po ako, at matagal-tagal ito. Magkakasama tayo sa marami-raming palabas."

When asked if there is anything else that she wants to try in show business, the multi-talented actress says she hopes to be part of the news department. "Gustong-gusto ko actually na masali sa news. Before 'to ha. Kasi 'di ba, I really love to talk. Mahilig talaga ako magkuwento. Sana in the future, pero siyempre, dahan-dahan muna tayo."

Atty. Gozon also imparted a few words after the contract signing. "Ang importante, napili tayo ni Manilyn. Kinararangal natin ang maging home station niya, sapagkat hindi lamang maganda si Manilyn, kung maganda talaga ang bukas ng mukha niya. Mahal natin talaga si Manilyn."

As for Manilyn's future projects with the network, Ms. Lilybeth Rasonable shared some good news with the press. "Bukod sa highly successful Pepito Manaloto, mayroon nang naka-lineup na soap para sa kanya. It's a family drama, so abangan na lang nila."
