Eugene Domingo scores her second nomination for Best Actress at the 8th Asian Film Awards




Nominado si Eugene Domingo sa Best Actress category ng 8th Asian Film Awards.
Ito ay para sa pagganap niya sa pelikulang Barber's Tale.

Ito ang ikalawang pagkakataon na na-nominate si Eugene sa Asian Film Awards
Noong 2012 ay na-nominate at nanalo siya bilang People's Choice Best Actress para sa pagganap niya sa Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank.

Noong 2013 naman ay nagwagi sina Nora Aunor at Eddie Garcia bilang Best Actress at Best Actor para sa pagganap nila sa Thy Womb at Bwakaw, respectively.

Ngayong 2014, tanging si Eugene ang nakakuha ng nominasyon mula sa Pilipinas.

Makakalaban niya sa kategoryang Best Actress sina Han Hyo-joo (Cold Eyes, South Korea), Paw Hee Ching (Rigor Mortis, Hong Kong), Yoko Maki (The Ravine of Goodbye, Hong Kong), at Zhang Zi Yi (The Grandmaster, Hong Kong/Mainland China).

Ang Singaporean film na Ilo Ilo—na tumatalakay sa relasyon ng isang Singaporean boy at ng kanyang Pinay na yaya—ay nakakuha ng dalawang nominasyon: Best Director para kay Anthony Chen at Best Supporting Actress para kay Yeo Yann Yann.

Gaganapin ang awarding ceremony ng 8th Asian Film Awards sa March 27, 2014, sa City of Dreams casino resort, Macau.
