Carla Abellana shares about her blissful relationship with Geoff Eigenmann

Kapuso couple Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann have been together for three years, and are going strong. Carla lets us in on what makes their relationship work, and how they spend time together despite their busy schedules.
 
Carla is currently the talk of the town because of her superb performance in My Husband’s Lover. This month alone, she is featured on the cover of four leading magazines and is a celebrity VJ in a music channel. Does she still have time for a social life?
 
“Thankfully, nagkakaroon minsan ng miracle na may mga work na napa-pack up or narereschedule. ‘Dun na lang ako umaasa. Sinusulit ko ‘yung time to go out with my family, eat out with them, or kaya I spend time with Geoff,” answered Carla.
 
Was there ever a time that Geoff got jealous over her sweet scenes with her My Husband’s Lover leading man, Tom Rodriguez?
 
“Kailan ba kami naging sweet? Diyos ko, bakla ‘yung dalawa sa story (laughs). Bakit siya magseselos eh beki ‘yung dalawa? He’s very proud sa akin and alam niya kung gaano na rin kalaki ‘yung success ng MHL (My Husband’s Lover), so happy siya for me,” she replied.
 
According to Carla, she and Geoff find joy in the simplest things. Nowadays, they don’t get to go out as much.
 
She shared, “He comes to my house na lang, kasi imbes na ako ‘yung nakakalabas, siya na lang ‘yung pumupunta, tapos manonood kami ng movie.”
 
She added, “I also cook for him. Hindi naman ako cook. There’s only very little I know, pero ‘pag nagluluto ako, nagugustuhan naman niya. He likes anything pasta, seafood pasta or something cream-based. Mahilig din siya sa steak.”
 
Carla also mentioned that in every relationship, there are trials, and her relationship with Geoff is no exception.
 
The Kapuso actress explained, “There’s no such thing as a perfect relationship. Pinaka-challenge pa rin is patience and understanding. Even if we have the same work, may times na nag-aaway pa rin kami. I guess we should always separate work from ‘yung personal namin.”
 
She gave this helpful piece of advice for every couple out there: “Find time for each other, tapos always keep the communication open kahit text lang ‘yan or call lang ‘yan. Always update each other para iwas sa mga miscommunication. Also ‘pag may free time ka, ibigay mo sa kanya.”
