Alma Moreno thanks Dolphy for loving Vandolph

Parañaque Councilor and actress Alma Moreno held back tears on Thursday as she thanked Dolphy for loving their son, Vandolph Quizon.

Maraming salamat talaga sa pagmamahal,” Moreno told reporters at the sidelines of a councilors’ event at the Senate.

Dolphy, fondly called the Philippines’ “King of Comedy,” died on Tuesday night due to multiple organ failure.

Moreno said her fondest memory of Dolphy was their trip to Disneyland with Vandolph.

Lagi siya nagpapa-lunch or dinner. Napakabait niyang tao,” she added.

The veteran comedian-actor had 18 children with six different women. Vandolph is Dolphy’s youngest son.  Admiration for Zsa Zsa

Moreno also expressed admiration to one of Dolphy’s partners, singer Zsa Zsa Padilla, who stayed with the King of Comedy until his last breath.

Moreno, however, could not help but air her disappointment over the government’s failure to give Dolphy the National Artist Award while the comedian was still alive.

Pinagkait nila ang karapat-dapat,” she said.

She added that she will definitely visit Dolphy’s wake, but could not say when she will be able to do so. — RSJ, GMA News
