'The Bourne Legacy' cast planning courtesy call on PNoy
The cast of the upcoming spy thriller movie “The Bourne Legacy” is planning to pay a courtesy call on President Benigno Aquino III, Malacañang said over the weekend.
But deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said there is still no definite word on when the courtesy call will take place.
“Ang alam ko sa side ng cast and crew, meron silang intention. Hindi ko alam kung nasabi ito nang pormal sa Palasyo,” Valte said on government-run dzRB radio.
The cast and crew of the upcoming movie have been filming scenes in Metro Manila for the past several days, amid tight security.
On Sunday, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino said the main stars had their night scenes filmed in Manila Saturday night until early Sunday.
“Kagabi (Saturday) sa Quirino Avenue lumabas si Jeremy Renner at Rachel Weisz,” he said in an interview on dzBB radio.
A separate report on dzBB said the cast is expected to rest Monday and Tuesday. The dzBB report said Renner and Weisz filmed a scene in the area Sunday night.
Earlier, Malacañang encouraged all agencies concerned to provide the needed assistance to the film’s cast and crew, which are expected to continue filming scenes in the Philippines until February. –KG, GMA News
