Manager: Actress Camille Prats' husband dies of cancer
Anthony Linsangan, the husband of local actress Camille Prats, succumbed to throat cancer at the Makati Medical Center (MMC) on Friday. Prats' manager, Arnold Vegafria, told GMA's Startalk that Linsangan died at the MMC early Friday morning. An article on the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) website said Linsangan died at 8:45 a.m. Linsangan, 32, succumbed to nasopharyngeal cancer, according to Vegafria. The disease affects the upper part of the throat, according to an article on medicinenet.com. He was born on October 12, 1979, in Manila's Tondo District and finished a B.S. Computer Science degree at the AMA Computer University-Makati. Linsangan and Prats were married in civil rites on January 5, 2008, in Los Angeles, California. They have a three-year old son, Nathaniel Caesar P. Linsangan. During the press conference for her TV program Munting Heredera last month, Camille confirmed the rumors that her husband was sick. However, she refused to give details about his condition. Linsangan's wake will be held at the Heritage Park Chapel in Taguig City.
