GMA's 'Totoy Bato' tops primetime for a week

MANILA, Philippines – GMA's new series "Totoy Bato," topbilled by Robin Padilla, continues to lord the primetime race since its debut on Feb. 23 (Monday), according to the AGB Mega Manila TV Ratings. It held on to the No. 1 spot from Feb. 24 (Tuesday) until Feb. 26 (Thursday); consistently followed by second-placer 'Luna Mystika.' "Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang" took the No. 3 spot Tuesday and Wednesday but slipped to No. 5 Thursday. ABS-CBN's "Tayong Dalawa" took over that position instead. "Tayong Dalawa" is the Kapamilya network's highest-rated program; improving its position from No. 5 Tuesday to No. 4 Wednesday and to No. 3 Thursday. Other shows that consistently made it into the Top 10 are "24 Oras," "May Bukas Pa," "I Love Betty La Fea," "Fated To Love You," "TV Patrol World," and "Showbiz News Ngayon." Three aftrenoon soaps and the noontime show of GMA, meanwhile, lead the pack in the daytime race. Sine Novelas "Saan Darating ang Umaga?," which ended on Friday (Feb. 27), and "Paano Ba ang Mangarap?" strongly held on to the first and second positions, respectively. "Eat Bulaga!"and "Daisy Sietez" were untouchables in the third and fourth slots. ABS-CBN's "Wowowee" and "Pilipinas, Game KNB?" were also consistent in their fifth- and sixth-place finish.
