Barbie Forteza shows support for Rita Daniela in ‘Liwanag sa Dilim’ musical

Barbie Forteza showed her support for Rita Daniela for being part of the “Liwanag sa Dilim” musical and only had praises for her friend.

On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime Princess shared a selfie of herself with Rita. She also posted a snap with the people who make up the show, including fellow Sparkle star Anthony Rosaldo.

“Congratulations sa lahat ng bumubuo nito lalo na sa 'yo mare ko [Rita Daniela]," wrote Barbie.

"Salamat sa pag-imbita sa akin. Napakahusay mong umarte at umawit. Ang linis at punung-puno ng puso."

The musical is Rita's first time back on the theater stage since "Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!" in 2018. 

“Liwanag sa Dilim” honors and celebrates OPM icon Rico Blanco’s contributions to the Filipino music industry. The musical is being staged at the RCBC Plaza and will have an extended run until May 4.

Aside from Rita and Anthony, other cast members include Sparkle star Khalil Ramos, CJ Navato, Alexa Ilacad, and more.
