R’Bonney Gabriel chats with her Aeta guide through video call

R’Bonney Gabriel has kept in touch with Kuya Ramil, her Aeta hiking guide during her trip to Mount Pinatubo.

In her Instagram Stories, Miss Universe 2022 posted a photo of the two of them at the mountain, and said that she was missing him.

"So we FaceTimed," R'Bonney said in her next post, showing a smiling Kuya Ramil during their call.

While in Mount Pinatubo, R’Bonney and Kuya Ramil were able to make a cute fit check video together.

After posting the video, R’Bonney replied to a netizen, “Please show [Kuya Ramil] and tell him thank you for everything.”

A Botolan local added, “We were so happy to have you here, Ms. R’bonney! Thank you for featuring Kuya Ramil, our amazing Mt. Pinatubo tour guide. We hope you enjoyed your time here in Botolan!”

The beauty queen also explored the scenic area while riding a carabao.

Since 2024, R’Bonney has been living in the Philippines but also travels frequently for work.

In recent weeks, she celebrated her birthday in La Union and hiked in Masungi Georeserve.
