Ashley Ortega emotional over support following 'PBB' stint: 'I feel so loved and so appreciated'

Having returned to the outside world, Ashley Ortega has finally felt the outpouring of love and support following her stint in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."

In an interview on "Unang Hirit" on Tuesday, the Sparkle star said that when she opened her phone after three weeks inside Bahay ni Kuya, her phone "exploded" with notifications.

"Ramdam na ramdam ko talaga appreciation niyo," she said.

"Naiyak talaga ako sa comments," she added. "I feel so loved and so appreciated, and that's actually the best feeling you can get."

Her fans and supporters showed up for her at the GMA Network Center and held posters and banners inside the "Unang Hirit" set.

Ashley told them, "Sa lahat na supporters ko noon, and mga supporters kong bago ngayon, maraming maraming salamat po sa inyo." With a laugh, she added, "Gusto ko na dito sa outside world."

"Sana patuloy ko po kayong ma-inspire at ma-motive to become true to yourself and to become a strong woman. I'm just really grateful, hanggang ngayon kasi hindi ako makapaniwala talaga."

Ashley and AC Bonifacio were the first duo to be evicted from "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."
