Benjamin Alves spends birthday with Chelsea Robato on set of 'Quezon' biopic

Benjamin Alves spent his birthday filming for the upcoming historical biopic, "Quezon," with none other than his wife, Chelsea Robato, as his "personal assistant."
On Instagram Monday, the Sparkle star shared a video of himself taping on set of the film during his birthday.
"Spend my birthday with me. Thank you to my [TBA Studios] family for making our 'Quezon' set like one long birthday party. And thank you to my beautiful PA [Chelsea]," he wrote in the caption.
In the video, Benjamin can be seen starting his day with a face ice bath and cuddles with his dog before he and Chelsea make their way to the movie set. Upon arriving, he gets his hair and makeup done and dons his costume to transform into the young Manuel L. Quezon.
Benjamin can be seen interacting with "Game of Thrones" actor Iain Glen, who stars as Leonard Wood in "Quezon." He and Chelsea also snap a photo with Iain, before Benjamin leads the cast and crew into unwrapping multiple bilao of spaghetti. He is then given a strawberry birthday cake by Chelsea.
Benjamin and Chelsea already celebrated his birthday a day prior due to the movie's taping. In a previous post, the actor shared snaps from their romantic birthday dinner, where he noted that having Chelsea as his "PA" the next day is the best birthday gift.
"Celebrating a day early with my love [Chelsea] since I’m filming for Quezon tomorrow. Thank you babe for the birthday treat! Best birthday gift? To be my PA tomorrow," he wrote in the caption.
"I can’t wait to wake up tomorrow, celebrate that I’m alive, am loved by a beautiful woman, and be able to go to a job I love," he added.
Benjamin stars as the young Quezon in Jerrold Tarog's upcoming biopic. Jericho Rosales will also play the title role in the film.
"Quezon" follows the life of Manuel L. Quezon, a lawyer and a soldier who became the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944, highlighting his tumultuous presidential campaign against Emilio Aguinaldo
Aside from Benjamin, Jericho, and Iain, the film's cast also includes Karylle as former first lady Aurora Quezon, Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguialdo, Romnick Sarmenta as Sergio Osmeña, the first Vice President of the Philippines, JC Santos as Manuel Roxas. Cris Villanueva, who plays the olrder Joven Hernando, is the only fictional character in the film series.
"Quezon" is the third installment of TBA Studio's "Bayaniverse," following "Heneral Luna" and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral."
