Rhian Ramos turns emotional recalling lowest point in her career

Rhian Ramos turned emotional as she looked back on the lowest point she experienced in her career.
On Monday's episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” the Kapuso actress recalled that there was a time when there were so many intrigues about her.
“I would say the lowest point for me, there were times na ang dami-dami-dami talagang intriga that was going around about me. And I couldn't understand. I think this is like the third or fourth year of my career. And also, I was young, so I was so affected,” she shared.
According to Rhian, it came to a point that people started to believe she was the one spreading these intrigues about herself so she would become famous.
“They didn't know how difficult it was and I felt so alone. And I really wanted to give up. There were times I really wanted to give up,” she recalled, adding that there was a “two-year period” where she believed the horrible things being said about her.
The “Sinagtala” star added she had so much self-hate when she was younger because of these past issues, admitting she wanted to give up on life at one point.
“Kaya ang dami ko rin self-hate before when I was younger. Kasi there were two years of my life na parang, when I say I wanted to give up, I'm not talking about showbiz. I'm talking about, you know, life as I knew it,” Rhian shared.
Despite everything that happened, Rhian said she is glad that she came back healed after a couple of years.
“I said, there's got to be more. There's got to be more to this life and this career. And there's got to be better days ahead.”
She also told Tito Boy that things did not get better overnight but over a period of time.
"Sometimes it gets better and then it comes in waves, so my dad would always tell me that. Sabi niya, 'Just take it Rhian, it's okay, it comes in waves,' so parang minsan babawi, so you feel okay again, and then something just comes back, so may good points and bad points until it just became like smaller waves," she said.
Rhian is set to play the role of June in the upcoming movie “Sinagtala” alongside Glaiza De Castro, Matt Lozano, Rayver Cruz and Arci Muñoz.
According to the Kapuso actress, her role as the drummer in the movie is a dream come true for her 14-year-old self.
“Sinagtala” premieres in cinemas on April 2.
