Elle Villanueva turns emotional recalling near-death experience in Switzerland

Elle Villanueva could not help but turn emotional as she recalled her near-death experience in Switzerland.

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Elle went on a vacation with her boyfriend, Derrick Monasterio.

“Kasi peak ‘yun eh. So akala ko, mapupunta na ako sa pinakababa or maybe malaglag na lang talaga ako or hindi ko alam. Akala ko last moments of my life na ‘yun, but at the same time nasa survival mode ako na naghahanap ako ng makakapitan,” Elle said.

She admitted that she was really nervous.

“‘Pag nakita mo talaga ‘yung video, parang pinakita talaga sa ‘kin ni Lord kung ano ‘yung itsura ko kung mamamatay ako. So parang I think this is Him telling me na I need to appreciate life more. Life-changing talaga siya, Ms. Aubrey, parang it’s a message na binigay talaga sa ‘kin ni Lord,” she said.

Aside from Switzerland, Elle and Derrick also witnessed the Northern Lights in Iceland during their trip.

Meanwhile, Elle is set to join “Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan” as Tetet, Lolong's new love interest.

“Isa siyang waitress sa isang bar. Napakasipag niya. Madiskarte siyang tao,” she said.

“Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan” airs weekdays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras" on GMA Network.
