David Licauco happy for Dustin Yu’s stint as housemate in 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition'

David Licauco has nothing but happiness and pride for his close friend Dustin Yu joining “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.”

In an interview with the members of the press on Thursday, the Pambansang Ginoo expressed joy over Dustin’s stint in Bahay ni Kuya.

“I’m just really happy for him,” he shared.  “You know, the day before he left, the day before he went inside PBB, I just got back from Australia. So, nagkita kami.”

According to the Sparkle star, it is a “big adjustment” for him now that Dustin is inside the PBB house because the latter is his closest friend.

“Si Dustin kasi 'yung pinaka-close ko. So, everyday ko siya kausap. Everyday kami magkausap, literally. So, syempre, big adjustment for me, na wala siya. Everyday kami magkasama eh. Lahat ng sikreto ko, alam niya lahat ng sikreto niya, alam ko,” David said.

Despite Dustin's absence, David said he is proud of him and even gave some advice to him before the he entered the PBB house.

“Sabi ko lang na, I think your objective should be to help everyone," said David.

David and Dustin are often seen in each other’s TikTok posts. The two also played friends in the Kapuso historical series “Pulang Araw” as Hiroshi and Kenji.

Dustin has been making waves online as one of the Sparkle housemates of Kuya. He was previously lauded as a green flag by netizens, and even got shipped with celebrity house guest Ivana Alawi.

Meanwhile, David is set to star in the comedy movie “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan” alongside Sanya Lopez.

"Samahan ng mga Makasalanan" is directed by Benedict Mique. It will be released in cinemas on April 19.
