Andrea Torres to star in upcoming drama series ‘Akusada’ with Benjamin Alves, Lianne Valentin, Marco Masa
Andrea Torres is gearing up for a new acting project!
On Instagram, the Kapuso actress shared some snippets from the recent story conference of the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime drama “Akusada” which she will star in alongside Benjamin Alves.
Directed by award-winning director Dominic Zapata, the series also stars Lianne Valentin and Marco Masa, among others.
Andrea was last seen in an episode of “Magpakailanman” with Miguel Tanfelix last August.
In 2023, she played the villain role of Czarina in “Love Before Sunrise” and portrayed the iconic Sisa in “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” which earned her Best Actress in a Supporting Role in the Platinum Stallion National Media Awards.
Meanwhile, Benjamin last starred in “Widows’ War” as Basil Palacios. He is set to play the younger version of Manuel L. Quezon in the upcoming “Quezon” biopic.
