Bianca Gonzalez says duo nominations change the 'game' in 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition'

Bianca Gonzalez says duo nominations change the 'game' in 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition'

Bianca Gonzalez shared some of her thoughts as the housemates voted their first nominations for eviction on "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" on Sunday.

On X (formerly Twitter), the PBB host gave her two cents on the process of nomination as a former Boarder ni Kuya.

"We've done 11 seasons of PBB, and housemates, whether intentionally or unconsciously, 'play the game,'" Bianca said.

"Duo nominations and evictions totally change the 'game' and will put to the test this batch of housemates in a wildly different way compared to past seasons," she added.

Bianca said the duo format is new in the Philippines, but it has already been done in Spain, Nigeria and The Netherlands.

"The housemates are forced to rethink what they thought the 'formula' is to staying in the house, or even winning," she said.

She also said nomination is one of the toughest tasks inside the house.

"This duo season is extra difficult kasi magkaiba ang bawat tao ng rason, at magkaiba ang tingin natin sa individual HM at sa ka-duo niya. A new challenge!" she said.

The current housemates indeed had a difficult time casting their nominations due to the duos. Many of them wanted to give points to one person, but they doubt themselves because of their partner.

In the end, they had to accept the rule and make their decision.

The three duos to get nominated for eviction are Ralph De Leon-Michael Sager, AC Bonifacio-Ashley Ortega, and Will Ashley-River Joseph.

The voting has officially begun and will end before the eviction night on Sunday. Netizens can cast their votes via the Maya app and have 30 chances to vote per day.

"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" airs new episodes on GMA Network at 10 p.m. weekdays and at 6:15 p.m. on weekends.
