Rhian Ramos plays drums at ‘Sinagtala’ premiere: ‘My 14-year-old self is screaming happy’

Rhian Ramos flexed her new drumming skills at the premiere of her new movie, “Sinagtala.”
On TikTok, the Kapuso actress posted a video of her in her off-shoulder, high-slit gown and high heels playing a rock song onstage alongside her castmates Glaiza De Castro, Rayver Cruz, Matt Lozano, and Arci Muñoz.
“My 14-year-old self is screaming happy," she wrote in the caption.
In an Instagram post, the actress also thanked director Mike Sandejas “for fighting for me to play the role of June and making my childhood dreams come true.”
“Salamat sa patience ng lahat ng nagturo sakin and ng lahat ng bandmates ko. Mahal ko kayo, and 14-year-old me thanks you too," she said.
Rhian learned how to play drums for the role, which led to her reflecting on her craft and reigniting her passion for acting.
The movie follows the band Sinagtala and its members as they navigate the challenges of their personal lives as a group and as friends.
“Sinagtala” premieres in cinemas on April 2.
