Can Jennylyn Mercado still recall the 'Super Twins' chant?

Jennylyn Mercado’s throwback knowledge was put to the test when she was tasked to recall the iconic “Super Twins” chant.

On GMA Public Affairs' TikTok page, the Kapuso Ultimate Star tried to fill in the blanks of the chant.

Jennylyn got the first line right, “Kapangyarihan ng araw, taglay ay liwanag.”

When she had to continue from “Kambal na,” Jennylyn looked confused and said, “tadhana?”

“Hala, hindi ko na maalala, sorry!” the actress added with a laugh.

But of course, she knew the final part: “Kami ang Super Twins!”

“Super Twins” aired on GMA-7 in 2007. It followed two young girls who transformed into superheroes.

Jennylyn played Super S, Nadine Samonte was Super T, and Dennis Trillo was Eliseo. Joining the cast were Ella Cruz as Tintin and Nicole Dulalia as Shasha.

Jennylyn and Dennis starred in the romantic comedy film “Everything About My Wife.” It premiered in February and was their first film as husband and wife.

The couple has a new series coming up, “Sanggang Dikit.” They took on target shooting to prepare for their roles as police officers.
