'Quezon' actors Mon Confiado and Iain Glen pose for a photo

"Quezon" the movie is looking like it's in full swing!

Shortly after Jericho Rosales showed off his spruced up tent at the movie's set, Mon Confiado took to social media to share a photo with "Game of Thrones" actor Iain Glen, calling the Scottish actor "The greatest Scottish theatre actor of his generation."

Mon will play Emilio Aguinaldo in the biopic, while Iain will give life to Leonard Wood, the United States Army major who served as Governor-General of the Philippines from 1921 to 1927. Jericho will play the titular role.

Iain's participation in the much awaited "Quezon" biopic was announced Monday. According to producers TBA, he read the script at the Manila Hotel earlier this year.

According to director Jerrold Tayog, Iain's casting makes "Quezon" "much more alive."

"[Iain Glen] has gravitas. But at the same time, he can let loose, which is important for the role of Leonard Wood," he said via a press release.

While Mon didn't specify when the photo with Iain was taken, on social media yesterday he shared photos of himself as Emilio Aguinaldo, revealing that filming for "Quezon" has already started.

Mon is reprising his role as Aguinaldo, a character he's played in the first two films of Tarog's Bayaniverse Trilogy: "Heneral Luna" (2015) and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" (2018).

"Quezon," the third and final film of the trilogy, follows the life of former Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon.

Joining Mon, Jericho, and Iain are Karylle as Aurora Quezon, and Benjamin Alves who will play a younger version of Quezon.
