Jericho Rosales could not hide his excitement at seeing his working tent for the “Quezon” film.
In an Instagram Reel, the actor showed his reaction upon arriving on set.
“’Yun ba ‘yung tent ko?” he asked.
When he saw large plants displayed outside, he said, “What is this?”
Inside the tent, it was then revealed that there were more plants, as well as a sofa bed, wooden lounge chairs, wooden chest, room divider, full body mirror, and warm lights.
“Are you kidding me? This is my dressing room?” Jericho said. “Oh my god! This is my working tent?”
“They know I love plants,” he added. “Oh, this is crazy. Oh, I love ‘Quezon’ team. Thank you, thank you.”
In his caption, Jericho expressed his love for his "Quezon" family.
“Old man is very touched and happy!” he added.
Production is underway for the upcoming Manuel L. Quezon film directed by Jerrold Tarog. It will follow the life of Manuel L. Quezon, a lawyer and a soldier who became the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944, highlighting his tumultuous presidential campaign against Emilio Aguinaldo.
Earlier this week, Jericho shared his hairstyle to play the titular character.
More cast members include "Game of Thrones" star Iain Glen as Leonard Wood, the United States Army major who served as Governor-General of the Philippines from 1921 to 1927; Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon's political rival; and Benjamin Alves as a younger version of Quezon.
"Quezon” is the third installment of TBA Studios' "Bayaniverse" following "Heneral Luna" and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral.”
