Shaira Diaz says she cried over plot twist in 'Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan' script

"Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan" is getting more and more intense.

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Tuesday, Shaira Diaz shared that the plot twist in the show's script for its next episodes made her cry.

"Umiiyak ako sa banyo. Sabi ko, 'Baba, nag-w-workshop ako,' kasi nagbabasa ako ng script. Nagulat ako sa plot twist ng 'Lolong,' so dapat abangan nila 'yan," said the Sparkle star.

Shaira didn't reveal any details about this twist, but she told viewers to watch for what awaits the characters of Elsie, played by her, and Lolong, played by Ruru Madrid.

"Syempre abangan muna nila kung makakatakas ba si Lolong, kung paano niya syempre masusugpo 'yung kasamaan at si Elsie, makakaalala ba? Hanggang kelan ba siya? 'Yung memorya niya ay wala pa rin."

Aside from taping for the show," Shaira and fiancé EA Guzman are also busy with preparations for their wedding this August, as well as their first business venture as a couple: a Thai milk tea shop!

"Parang itinadhana talaga itong business na 'to para sa amin, parang tamang panahon 'no? Di namin masyado na-feel 'yung pressure na pagsabayin 'yung business and 'yung wedding plans," she said.

"Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan" airs weekdays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras" on GMA Prime.
