In the vlog, the content creator showed clips of him on the way to his audition for the reality show some time ago, which he filmed inside his car.

At the time, Benedict shared how nervous he was, adding that he has wanted to be a PBB housemate for a long time.

"Matagal ko nang gusto maging housemate talaga. Syempre sinasabi ko lang sa inyo ayoko ko kasi ang tagal sa loob ng bahay pero syempre sino ba namang ayaw?" he said.

"Kapag matagal ka sa bahay marami kang i-sa-sacrifice. Your time for work, for family, your opportunity loss while you're inside, 'di ba? Andaming mga factors and now that I have a son, but naisip ko din para sa future naman 'to, para din mas may mapatunayan ako sa sarili ko."

He added that if he's given a chance to be a housemate, he would want to share about his advocacy for mental health.

"Although people are getting aware, but not a lot are taking it seriously," he said. "'Pag binigay sakin 'to ni Lord, I'll make it worth it."

He also showed clips of him moments before his audition and the drive home after, where he shared the "annoyingly anxious part" of waiting five to six days for the result.

"Lord, ikaw na bahala. If it's for me, it's for me, if it's not then it's a good experience. Sana ito 'yun, sana this is it, okay, but again, I don't wanna expect. I just wanna keep working and meet my deadlines for this week and just try not to think about it although it's super hard to not think about it."

Benedict didn't make the cut for "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."

Nevertheless, he shared in the present time that he weighed the pros and cons of joining, especially now that he has a baby, Aleck, who is a year old.

"I guess blessing in disguise na rin hindi ako nakapasok kasi napanood ko kahapon 'yung isang episode and sabi ko sa sarili ko, 'Kung nakapasok siguro ako dun sobrang baka ma-OP ako kasi puro Gen Zs doon.' So parang hala, pwede na ata nila ako maging ninong," he said in jest.

He expressed his support for his friends, Mika Salamanca and Esnyr, who are currently among the housemates inside Kuya's house, as well as his excitement for the episodes to come.

He also shared that he's glad to see online personalities are now getting opportunities such as PBB.

"Now, nakakaproud that the people I used to see in the same industry are given equal opportunity. So I'm rooting for you guys and hopefully may better opportunity din for me because this year I really want to improve my acting skills and everything that comes with it," he said.

"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" premiered on GMA Network on March 9. Kuya's 15 new housemates are a mix of Sparkle and Star Magic artists.

The show airs new episodes on GMA at 10 p.m. weekdays and at 6:15 p.m. on weekends.
