Jericho Rosales shows off hairdo for historical biopic 'Quezon'

Jericho Rosales is taking the excitement up a notch for the upcoming historical biopic "Quezon" by showing off his hairdo as the late former Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon.

On Instagram Stories, the actor shared a black and white clip of him having his hair styled.

"Here comes old man," Jericho wrote in the caption, followed by Quezon's initials, "MLQ."

In another Instagram Story, he posted a photo of him sitting in a barber's chair in Tasa Barbershop, Marikina City.

Jericho will play the titular role in Direk Jerrold Tarog's upcoming film.

Earlier, "Game of Thrones" star Iain Glen was announced as the newest addition to the "Quezon" biopic cast. He is to portray the role of Leonard Wood, the United States Army major who served as Governor-General of the Philippines from 1921 to 1927.

Aside from Jericho and Iain, other cast members include Mon Confiado, who will reprise his role as Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon's political rival, and Benjamin Alves, who will play a younger version of Quezon.

Set to premiere later this year, the film follows the life of Quezon, the Filipino lawyer and soldier who became the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944.

"Quezon" is the third installment of TBA Studios' "Bayaniverse," which is preceded by "Heneral Luna" (2015) and "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral" (2018).
