Mavy Legaspi ends stint as house guest in ‘Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition'

Mavy Legaspi’s stay in the "Pinoy Big Brother" house has come to an end.

On Friday night's episode, Mavy was called into the confession room by Kuya, where he told the Sparkle star he has 100 minutes left to be with his "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" housemates.

“I’m just grateful sa mga housemates na nakilala ko po. They’re really special people. Mami-miss ko sila,” said Mavy.

Per Kuya, Mavy's housemates aren't allowed to know about his departure until his 100 minutes are up. As Mavy exited the room, a timer flashed into one of TV screens to begin the countdown for his departure.

When his time was up, Mavy stood up and thanked his housemates, and stressed how he will root for all of them.

“I enjoyed my time with you, guys. Maraming salamat. Ito ‘yung totoong task. My task is out there pero nung binigay ni Kuya ‘tong task sa akin, nagulat ako, obviously, wala akong damit, wala akong ni-pack. I have zero regrets the first night,” Mavy said.

“Can’t wait to see you at the outside world. Hugs for you, guys. I’m so excited for your journey. I’ll be rooting for each and every one of you. I’ll really gonna miss you, guys,” he added.

After saying his farewells to the housemates, Mavy and girlfriend Ashley Ortega shared a private emotional moment.

"I'm actually so lucky na you get to stay here, hon, I didn't expect naman na you’re gonna be here for a while. I’m happy you enjoyed here honey,” Ashley said.

Mavy also expressed his gratitude to Kuya for his stay at the famous yellow house and looked forward to a new start.

“Syempre Kuya ma-mi-miss ko sila pero nararamdaman ko Kuya na it’s a start of another beautiful beginning po. Thank you for the opportunity po. Nag-enjoy po ako. Maraming salamat po, Kuya,” he said.

After Mavy left the house, Ashley couldn't help but cry. 

“I’m so happy and so grateful and so lucky na nakasama ko siya here sa loob ng house. First few days ko dito siyempre may mga adjustments na kailangan gawin," she said.

“I felt more comfortable because I know he’s here. I know he’s around. Masakit na umalis talaga siya dito.”

Mavy was named the second house guest in the show after he was left inside the house as punishment. This was after he and his fellow "PBB" hosts Gabbi Garcia, Melai Cantiveros, and Alexa Ilacad failed the task they had to do in the pilot episode on March 9.

“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” airs new episodes on GMA Network at 10 p.m. weekdays and at 6:15 p.m. on weekends.
