Alden Richards holds block screening for Dennis Trillo, Jennylyn Mercado's new movie 'Everything About My Wife'

Alden Richards organized a block screening for Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado's new romcom movie, "Everything About My Wife."

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Thursday, the Asia's Multimedia Star shared that Dennis and Jennylyn are close to him.

"Parang sabi ko when this movie came out and then I'm hearing a lot of good reviews, we should start an environment like that towards one another, we support each other syempre," he shared.

The DenJen couple expressed their gratitude to Alden for the sweet gesture.

"Gusto namin magpasalamat sa kaniya dahil sa palagi niyang pagsuporta sa mga kasama sa industriya, sa mga kaibigan, sa pag-uplift ng pelikulang Pilipino," said Dennis.

Jennylyn also shared that it's been a long time since she and Alden worked together, but he hasn't changed a bit.

"Ang tagal na naming nagkatrabaho pero hanggang ngayon ganun pa rin 'yung Alden na kilala ko. Napaka-generous at napakabait, napaka-supportive," she said.

Alden and Jennylyn worked together in the Kapuso romance and drama anthologies "Wagas" and "I Can See You."

Meanwhile, Alden and Dennis worked together for the first time in the Kapuso series "Pulang Araw" last year.

In the report, Alden expressed his desire to work with Dennis and Jennylyn anew.

"Nasa bucket list ko rin 'yun, makatrabaho ko silang dalawa again, actually. Tsaka mabubuting tao, dun ako, that's what I'm banking on, so they deserve all the support they can get and they deserve all the support they've been getting for every project that they do," he said.

Last December, Alden likewise organized a block screening for the MMFF 2024 Best Picture "Green Bones" in support of Dennis.

"Everything About My Wife," Alden and Kathryn Bernardo's "Hello, Love, Again," and "Green Bones" are being screened at the Manila International Film Festival in Los Angeles, California this week.

"Everything About My Wife" is also currently showing in local cinemas, and the DenJen couple is set to star in the upcoming Kapuso action-drama series "Sanggang Dikit."

Alden, on the other hand, is co-producing the upcoming Manila concert of '90s boyband, 98 Degrees.
