Jennylyn Mercado gets real about first taping day jitters for upcoming series 'Sanggang Dikit'

Jennylyn Mercado got candid about feeling the jitters on her first taping day for her upcoming GMA series with husband Dennis Trillo, "Sanggang Dikit."

In Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras" Friday, the Kapuso Ultimate Star shared that first day jitters don't ever really go away.

"Hindi nawawala 'yung first day jitters kasi pagka-unang araw, medyo may kaba talaga tapos natataranta ka," she said.

"Hindi mo masyado ma-memorize 'yung linya sa umpisa, so hopefully sa second day wala nang ganun."

According to the report, the actress is also excited for her action scenes with Dennis.

The couple and their co-stars previously went target shooting in preparation for the action-drama series.

"Syempre importante 'yung training para makabisado namin 'yung mga paghawak ng baril, tamang posture, tamang form. 'Yung mga parts din ng baril importante na kabisado namin," she said of their training.

Aside from DenJen, the series will also star Allen Dizon, Joross Gamboa, John Vic De Guzman, Kiel Rodriguez, Seb Pajarillo, and James Lucero.

The couple's rom-com movie, "Everything About My Wife," which is also their first film together as husband and wife, is now showing in cinemas.
