'Slay' to have different versions on GMA Network, Viu

GMA Network's first Viu Original, "Slay," is going to have two different versions on TV and on the streaming platform.

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, GMA Network Inc. Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes said that this is the first time for the Kapuso network.

"One version on Viu, one version on TV. Magkaiba 'yung ending natin kaya kailangang abangan parehong versions," she said.

Viu Philippines Head of Content Garlic Garcia described the show as campy, fun, scandalous, and fiery.

"Be ready to slay! Watch it first on Viu. Starting March 3, mapapanood n'yo po nang libre. And then after three weeks, mapapanood po sa GMA," she said.

The series will star Julie Anne San Jose, Gabbi Garcia, Mikee Quintos, and Ysabel Ortega.

"Ito siguro 'yung pinaka-interesting para sa akin na napunta sa aking role kasi ibang-iba siya sa kung ano ako as a person," Julie Anne said.

Gabbi called the show very unpredictable, adding that the best part is that it is led by an all-women main cast.

"We're working together with our friends, so kitang-kita 'yung chemistry on screen," she said.

Mikee said that everyone has been bringing their best on set.

"Wala akong nararamdaman na negative competition sa mga 'to," she said.

"I love na we all look seemingly innocent pero may tinatago rin pala kaming mga sikreto and ano 'yung mga reasons kung bakit makakapatay ng tao ang isang babae?" Ysabel said.

"Slay" will also star Derrick Monasterio, Royce Cabrera, Jay Ortega, Gil Cuerva, Phoemela Barranda, Tina Paner, Chuckie Dreyfus, and Simon Ibarra.
