Mavy Legaspi on being a host of 'Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition': 'I've always dreamt of it'

Mavy Legaspi will serve as one of the Kapuso hosts in the upcoming "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" alongside Gabbi Garcia on GMA Network.

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Friday, the Sparkle star shared it was "surreal" to be one of the hosts.

"It was such a surreal feeling kasi I've always dreamt of it tsaka syempre there are a lot of fans of 'Pinoy Big Brother' and I was also one of them and just to see myself being one of the hosts, it's really an honor and I'm really excited," he said.

According to the report, Mavy is game to join the show as a housemate should Kuya request him to.

He also thought that his girlfriend Ashley Ortega, mom Carmina Villarroel, and twin sister Cassy would do well as housemates.

"Kakayanin syempre. Makakatulong din naman 'yun sa kaniya if ever and I'm sure she's gonna enjoy it," he said about the possibility of Ashley becoming a housemate.

As for his mom, he said it would be easy for her because she's an extrovert.

He noted, however, that he's a bit nervous should Cassy become a housemate, but added, "Pero feeling ko kayang-kaya naman ni Cassy sa bahay ni Kuya, feel ko lang mamimiss niya 'yung outside world."

On Friday, Mavy was officially introduced as one of the reality show's hosts during his guest appearance on "It's Showtime."

Aside from Mavy and Gabbi, "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" will also include Kapamilya hosts Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, Melai Cantiveros, and Bianca Gonzalez.
