Blackpink's Lisa earns praise from co-stars for her performance in 'The White Lotus' Season 3

Lisa of Blackpink marked her acting debut with "The White Lotus" Season 3, which premiered on HBO this February.

In Lyn Ching's report for "24 Oras" Friday, the K-pop idol mentioned how her co-stars supported her along the way.

"Everybody's just trying to support me as much as they can, and they just make me feel so comfortable on set,so it's just more easy for me to just,you know,act it out and no pressure," she said.

Tayme Thapthimthong, who plays Gaitok alongside Lisa's Mook in the series, said that she did great despite being nervous.

"She'd be like, 'I'm just a little nervous' and we're just, 'It's okay you're gonna do fine' and they say action and she just does amazing," he said.

Sarah Catherine Hook, who plays Piper in the show, also praised Lisa's impressive acting.

"We've been so impressed by her watching the show. She's so good it's infuriating actually because this is her acting debut..." she said. "[She] always has a smile on her face and everyone lights up when she's around."

During the interview, Lisa and Tayme shared how their closeness translated onscreen.

"We did make efforts off-set to sort of get to know each other better, authentically, by doing lunch and dinners and stuff together and some activities on the weekend," said Tayme.

Lisa added, "Something more naturally like after our shoot, 'Hey do you wanna just let's do dinner together or just lunch together.'"

"The White Lotus" is directed by Mike White. The series premiered in 2021 and has since won 11 Emmy awards. The anthology TV series takes place in the fictional White Lotus resort chain and follows the stories of its guests.
