Shayne Sava recalls invaluable advice she received from the late Cherie Gil

Shayne Sava guested on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Friday where she shared what it was like working with the late Cherie Gil in "Legal Wives" and the invaluable advice she received from her.
According to Shayne, she will never forget Cherie because she was among the people who really honed her to become an actress.
" I remember Tito Boy sa 'Legal Wives' kung saan po kami nagkasama, lagi niya po akong binibigyan ng advice kasi si Ms. Cherie parang kapag nakita niyo po siya parang matatakot ka pero once you know her, sobrang bait niya po talaga," said the Ultimate Female Survivor of "StarStruck" Season 7.
Shayne also looked back on the advice she will never forget from Cherie, such as when the latter told her to always know her cameras and lighting when shooting scenes.
"Tapos lagi mo dapat i-support 'yung mga ka-eksena mo. So, tumatak po talaga 'yun sa isip ko, Tito Boy, tapos lagi niya kong sinasabihan na dapat marunong kang makisama," she said.
In the past, Cherie expressed her excitement to work with Shayne in "Legal Wives," calling her "one talent to watch out for."
Prior to "Legal Wives," Shayne first encountered Cherie back when the former was still in "StarStruck" 7. Cherie happened to be one of the judges during one evening when Shayne played the ukulele.
Shayne went on to win the show alongside Kim de Leon, who was named the Ultimate Male Survivor.
She is set star in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series "Mommy Dearest" with Camille Prats and Katrina Halili, among others. The series will premiere on February 24 at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Network.
