Jason Marvin releases worship song 'Bulong'
Jason Marvin is back with a new song.
Titled “Bulong,” the song tackles themes of listening to God during challenging times.
In an Instagram post, Jason said the song “was written from the perspective of the prophet Elijah.”
The singer shared that when Queen Jezebel sough to take Elijah’s life, he was overcome with fear, gave up, then told God to take him.
“But he would soon learn that when God speaks; strength, joy, faith, and peace comes with it. Man really does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God,” Jason wrote.
“God will always always always have the final say,” he added.
“Bulong” was released on February 19.
In another post, Jason said he will be releasing a worship album, an idea he's been nursing since 2022. Apart from “Bulong,” he released “Panghahawakan” in January, which is about the apostle Matthew.
“Finally done with sad songs yey,” Jason said.
Jason is best known for the song “Ikaw at Ako” with ex-wife Moira Dela Torre. The couple split in 2022, with Jason admitting that he cheated on Moira.
After their separation, Moira released what is believed to be a response to their duet, titled “Ikaw at Sila.” Her latest album “I’m Okay” dropped in 2024.
