‘Everything About My Wife’ casts Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo, Sam Milby weigh in on love and healing

Can love heal all wounds?
At the media conference of the upcoming movie “Everything About My Wife” Thursday, lead stars Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo and Sam Milby weighed in on love and its power to heal.
According to Dennis, as long as there is love, anything is possible. “Ako siyempre, naniniwala ko na kapag meron pang pagmamahal, sa tingin ko, kahit ano pa yan, ma-hi-heal yan,” he said.
"Hindi natin masasabi kung mababalik pa talaga sa dati, pero kung may pagmamahal, maaring pang ma-heal ang isang relasyon.”
For his Jennylyn, meanwhile, it depends on the gravity of the situation.
“Depende siguro sa gravity noong 'yung nangyari, 'di ba? Kung sobrang lala, hindi mo na talaga kayang mag-heal. Huwag mo nang pilitin, kasi baka maulit-ulit,” she said.
Sam agrees with a big "but."“I think it depends. Every situation's different. I think that over time, time can heal wounds,” he began, "but may scar."
"May peklat — there will always be something left behind. Whether it's a hugot that you can be triggered by, or a big lesson that you learned that made you grow. Normally, that's what happens. It's a bigger lesson that comes out of it,” Sam said.
“But I think love will always prevail in the end. There are different situations but over time, it will heal,” he added.
In “Everything About My Wife,” Dennis and Jennylyn will play husband and wife while Sam will play the character of Miguel, a casanova who gets intertwined with the married couple.
The story follows Imogen (Jennylyn) and Dom (Dennis) who face a challenging point in their marriage when Miguel gets in the way of the couple and puts Imogen's loyalty to the test.
It is directed by Real Florido and produced by GMA Pictures, CreaZion Studios, and Glimmer Studio. Its cast also includes Carmi Martin, Alex Agustin, Joyce Glorioso, Polo Laurel, and Nova Villa, with the special participation of Ruby Ruiz, Donna Cariaga, Isay Alvarez, Romnick Sarmenta, and Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.
"Everything About My Wife" will open in cinemas on February 26.
