Yen Durano explains why she left Vivamax: 'I want to focus on my music'

Yen Durano has parted ways with Vivamax, explaining on Wednesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" that it is no longer aligned with her current energy.
“I feel like I’m done with it. I’m done with my contract and movies there. I make music. I want to focus on my music. I’m a singer-songwriter po, so I do R&B, contemporary soul. ‘Yun po ‘yung pino-focus ko,” she said.
Yen added that she wants to explore new music genres.
When asked by Tito Boy if she no longer wants to be too exposed, she agreed.
“Feeling ko ang dami ko na ring nagawa,” she said, adding she has done around 10 to 12 films for Vivamax.
“I believe na it’s time to make a change and be firm with that change. If you want to move on to the next thing, you have to stop someday and focus your energy doon.”
Some of Yen's songs include "Sayo," "Sativa," and "On the Low."
