Diana Zubiri reveals her 'Mga Batang Riles' character Maying is still alive

Diana Zubiri returned on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" and shared an exciting revelation!

On Thursday's episode, the Kapuso actress thanked those who have been waiting for her in "Mga Batang Riles."

"Thank you din sa pag-aabang niyo sa 'kin sa 'Mga Batang Riles' dahil ito na po, puwede ko nang sabihin na hindi namatay si Maying. So kailangan n'yo na po akong abangan sa mga susunod na araw," Diana said.

In previous episodes, Maying was believed to have died after a fire broke out in Sitio Liwanag.

But in episode 23, Kidlat (Miguel Tanfelix) had a dream that his mom Maying visited him and held him in a warm embrace.

When he woke up, he found that Maying was nowhere in sight.

"Mga Batang Riles" serves as Diana's TV comeback. The actress is most well-known as the original Sang'gre Danaya in "Encantadia."

Diana and Miguel star together with Kokoy De Santos, Raheel Bhyria, Bruce Roeland, and Anton Vinzon in "Mga Batang Riles." It airs weekdays on GMA Prime at 8:50 p.m. after "Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan."
