Joem Bascon joins 'Mga Batang Riles' cast

Joem Bascon is joining the cast of "Mga Batang Riles!"

As seen in Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the actor is seen wearing a doctor's coat with the name Gerald D. Kalinga, MD and the words "general surgeon."

He joins AiAi delas Alas and Caitlyn Stave as the new additions in the action series.

"Ang character ko dito si Dr. K. Isa akong doktor na mapagkawang-gawa, mapagbigay ng awa sa mga bata," he said.

"Pero siyempre despite and behind that kabutihan, 'yung good will na ginagawa niya, meron siyang sikreto na itinatago," he added.

Joem last starred in GMA Prime series "Asawa ng Asawa Ko" as Leon Lozano. He also previously appeared in "Black Rider."

"Mga Batang Riles" stars Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy De Santos, Raheel Bhyria, Bruce Roeland, and Anton Vinzon. It airs weekdays on GMA Prime at 8:50 p.m. after "Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan."
