'Pulang Araw,' Marian Rivera, Barbie Forteza, more Kapuso stars, programs nominated in 38th Star Awards for TV

Several GMA Network programs and personalities are nominated in the 38th Star Awards for television.

Leading the list is the Kapuso historical series "Pulang Araw," which bagged nine nominations including Best Primetime TV series, Best Drama Actress for Barbie Forteza, Best Drama Actor for Alden Richards and David Licauco, Best Drama Supporting Actress for Rochelle Pangilinan, Best Drama Supporting Actor for Dennis Trillo, Best Child Performer for Cassy Lavarias and Brianna Advincula and Best New Male TV Personality for Jay Ortega.

Meanwhile, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera also received a nomination for Best Drama Actress for her role in "My Guardian Alien."
