Doc Yappy jumps on 'fine dining restaurant' trend

Doc Yappy amused netizens by hopping on the “fine dining restaurant” trend.

The cosmetic surgeon and Status by Sparkle talent shared a TikTok video of their family’s fancy Chinese New Year feast at the Hilton Manila. Alongside Doc Yappy were his wife Vina and their children.

For the audio, Doc Yappy used Toni Fowler’s trending “Tayo ay nasa fine dining restaurant” meme as he showed clips from their dinner.

“Parang ok lang naman pala kina Ms Vina at Doc Yappy HAHAHAHAHA,” a follower said.

“Napagalitan pa si Mikay. Okay lang naman pala kina Doc Yappy,” another fan added.

Dr. Eric C. Yapjuangco, or “Doc Yappy,” is a friend of Toni, who is also his regular client. He and his wife were mentioned in the trending audio.

In a 2024 episode of Toni's online reality show “ToRo Family,” she called out Mikay for her impolite attitude when they were dining at a fancy restaurant with Doc Yappy and Vina.

"Noong dinner, anong nangyari? May inaabot ka kay Papi. P***** ina, nalaglag 'yung biskuwit, tama? Tayo ay nasa fine dining restaurant 'di ba? So 'yung pagka-squatter natin, iwan natin sa bahay,” Toni told Mikay.

She also told Mikay to adjust to situations like that.

“Nasa restaurant ka naman na sosyal. Kailan mo 'ko narinig na 'p*****ng ina naman eh.' Naggagaganoon ako sa harap ni Ms. Vina? Never," Mommy Oni said. "Ang tawag doon, pakikisama. Hindi ka naman magiging peke eh.”
