Anthony Rosaldo is back with a new single, “Batubalani.”
According to the theater actor and Sparkle star, he wrote the pop song in 2022.
He said on Instagram that he was “inspired by the idea of a magnet—how love pulls two people together in a way that feels unbreakable.”
“It’s a feel-good, upbeat song about that kind of love, the kind that makes you want to be with someone always. And isn’t that such a beautiful feeling?”
The singer-actor added that it has been three years since he released a song.
“Madami-dami din akong nagawa sa mga taon na ‘yon, yet something always felt missing—because I know that creating music is a part of me,” Anthony said. “Hope this song brings you joy!”
“Batubalani” is now up on all music streaming platforms.
Anthony first made waves for his role as Young Hector in the 2023 restaging of the Eraserheads musical, “Ang Huling El Bimbo.”
He then played Roger Davis in the Philippine production of “Rent,” and is part of the cast of the upcoming Rico Blanco jukebox musical “Liwanag sa Dilim.”
More of Anthony’s recent achievements include holding the solo concert Switch, and giving his mother a house for Christmas.
