Will Ferrell, Reese Witherspoon share tips to survive family gatherings, who they'd do everything for
Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon's latest project, “You’re Cordially Invited,” marked their first time starring together in a movie.
In Lyn Ching’s interview with the Hollywood stars, which aired on "24 Oras" Friday, Reese and Will shared tips on how to survive family gatherings.
“I have to learn to just stay quiet and not offer my opinion," she said, adding that she just focuses on the grandparents.
Will agreed and said, “And maybe realize that it’s just a finite amount of time, it’ll be over soon. Don’t take it too seriously. That sort of thing.”
Lyn also asked the Hollywood stars who they would do everything for, as their characters in the film, Margot and Jim, are both devoted to their families.
"I'd do anything for my kids or my mom or my family," said Reese.
"Yeah, family. I would do anything for my dogs," added Will.
During the interview, Reese also praised her co-star, calling him a “force of comedy."
Will echoed the same sentiments, saying, “But so is she. That’s why people are gonna see this movie and [be] reminded as to how funny Reese Witherspoon is."
"Getting to work opposite, just basically anything Will would do is just amazing. It was really really fun," Reese added, noting that there’s an uncomfortable and “so cringy” scene where Will’s character dances with his daughter to “Islands in the Stream.”
“You're Cordially Invited” is streaming on Prime Video.
